Made a change from our usual walk by heading out over the Blue Bridge to Vic West. We followed the first part of the Galloping Goose Trail to where it connects with Banfield Park. It was a lovely sunny day and we sat on the grass with a dear friend and her darling daughter.
Walking across the Blue Bridge to connect with the first part of the Galloping Goose Trail. This bridge is often seen in photos I post taken from across the water on the walkway that follows the south side of the harbour past Fisherman’s Wharf and onto the waterfront walk on Dallas Drive. The land on the right side of the photo is the Songhees land which has the lovely Westsong Walkway to Westbay Marina.
Looking back towards the Inner Harbour. The ferry ship Coho is preparing to leave on its twice-daily trip to Port Angeles.
A beautifully-blossomed shrubbery I don’t know the name of.
Looking through the wild roses to the Selkirk Trestle.
View up the gorge waterway towards Esquimalt Gorge Park.
A super awesome baby we know.
